The Exeterand District Kidney Patients’ Association provides support to pre-dialysis, dialysis and transplant patients inDevonand surrounding areas.
Although the NHS provides medical support, there are many things which make patients’ lives easier which the Association must provide.
There are many ways we do this. Here are a few examples:
- The provision of televisions for the renal units (being on dialysis for up to five hours, these are invaluable)
- grants to patients requiring financial support as a result of dialysis/treatment,
- grants for patients/carers enabling them to take a short break from the pressures of dialysis (this includes carers, who are a vital source of support for patients).
- organised holidays and trips for patents enabling them to get away (e.g. coach trips etc).
It is with your support that we can continue to make the lives of local renal patients and their families more tolerable. If you would like to donate online, please visit our secure donations page (operated by Virgin) here. Without your help, we could not continue supporting local kidney patients.
Below there are links to MoneyGiving, where you can donate directly (or create a personal page for a fundraising event).
There is also a form if you would like to donate funds using Gift Aid, where you and the EDKPA will benefit from recouping tax on your donation.
If you would like to setup a regular giving standing order, please download the regular giving form below.
Gift Aid is a way for the EDKPA to increase the value of monetary gifts from UK taxpayers by claiming back the basic rate tax paid by the donor on the donation. It can increase the value of donations
