We take protecting your data seriously..
The EDKPA likes to send a regular newsletter to its members via email and post. It also likes to send out other information in-between mewsletters about important events/articles which are relevant to its members.
To do this, we must have your consent to do this under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (2018), so ask that you complete this form (available on our website here .
The only other body we ask if you would like to share your details with is the National Kidney Federation (link here) which is our governing body. This is because the EDKPA are usually aware of requests for membership of the EDKPA, and the NKF would like - only if you allow us - to share data so it may send you a National Kidney Federation newsletter for kidney patients, and also other relevant material relevant to EDKPA members.
If you consent to sharing data with the NKF (and this is optionsal), we will forward your details so they may send their newsletter, and any other relevant information relevant to its members.
Under the GDPR, the EDKPA is bound to treat your data under the following principles:
- Lawfulness, fairness, & transparency
- Purpose limitation
- Data minimization
- Storage limitation
- Integrity & confidentiality
You may ask us delete your details from our membership list at any time. Please contact the secretary or email us (details below).
